The Lost Lords Series

I've always found male friendships really appealing, particularly men who have become a family for each other.  This must be why I have two seven book series based on men who met as schoolboys and become closer than brothers.

The Lost Lords met at the Westerfield Academy, a small school for boys of "good birth and bad behavior." Founded by Lady Agnes Westerfield, the widely traveled daughter of a duke, the school takes boys who are square pegs in aristocratic society and teaches them how to be true to themselves while also learning how to fit into the roles life demands of them.  The heroes learn to trust each other as each hero comes to terms with his life and finds the strong, loving, independent woman who is his perfect match.
