Dark Mirror Series (YA)


I really liked the premise of an anti-Hogwarts school where magically gifted children are sent to be "cured," and my Del Rey fantasy editor thought it would be perfect for a YA (Young Adult) series.  She was right. I've always been fascinated by the parallels between the Napoleonic wars and World War II, where Britain stood alone against a Continental monster, so my time traveling teen mages find themselves drawn from Regency England to WWII, where they use their powers to help defend Britain.
